Job Description: We seek a motivated and experienced Sales Representative to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales, excellent communication skills, and a passion for delivering outstanding customer service. As a Sales Representative, you will be responsible for responding to inside sales requests as well as identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining client relationships, and achieving sales targets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Respond to inbound quote requests
- Read and understand engineering drawings
- Estimate material, labor, and other project-specific related costs to calculate final pricing
- Present and sell company products and services to new and existing customers
- Prospect and contact potential customers
- Reach agreed upon sales targets by the deadline
- Resolve customer inquiries and complaints
- Set follow-up appointments to keep customers aware of latest developments
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and sales pipeline using CRM software
- Create sales material to present to customers
- Participate in trade shows, conferences, and other industry events to promote our products and services
Primary Qualifications:
- Self-motivated with a results-driven approach and a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Previous experience in sales, customer service, or other related fields in the elevator or construction industry
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field
- Proficiency with CRM platforms, Microsoft Excel and Outlook and QuickBooks
- Math skills, i.e. calculations, interpreting drawings for takeoffs
- Ability to build rapport with clients and maintain long-term relationships
- Strong presentation and negotiation skills
- Deadline and detail-oriented
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel as needed
